The Food Library is a collection of books owned and shared to inspire and celebrate the processes of growing, cooking, eating and drinking.

The Food Library is a starting point for its collectors to create curious infusions, preserves and food events using home grown, seasonal and environmentally friendly produce.

Its collectors are Michael Mayhew & Laura Elliott, who run The Food Library from their home in Northampton.

We opened for the first time on January 25th 2020 and will now be open fortnightly on Saturdays for members to enjoy the books and home cooked food. We’re also starting a regular Dining Club and other special events throughout the seasons.
